Jubail Industrial College Welcomes the Trainees of the Saudi Aramco Batch 16 Lab Tech Training Program

Jubail Industrial College received from Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) on February 23, 2013 a new batch of trainees for the Laboratory Technician Training Program. A total of 31 trainees are joining the Batch 16 and they were warmly welcomed by the Special Programs Unit of the Industrial Relations at the College Auditorium. During the orientation, the trainees were provided with vital information and instructions about the College regulations and training systems.

The new batch will undergo a training period of 39 weeks, divided into three phases. Each training phase consists of 13 weeks that includes five (5) subjects at 35 training hours per week.

This program is a living example of the cooperation between Jubail Industrial College and Saudi Aramco. A significant number of training programs for Saudi Aramco have been conducted at JIC in the field of Laboratory Technician. Up to date, 15 programs have been completed; 341 trainees have been educated and trained, in addition to 3 similar programs in the same field which will be implemented at a later time.
